This book of photos was inspired by an early frost that hit Colorado in the fall of 2009. As photographers, the onset of a frost settling on trees still filled with color was an incredible opportunity for us to capture some amazing photographs. In each and every direction we turned there was an amazing photo opportunity. Despite the bitter cold, the beauty of the scenes surrounding us, captivated us. Our only concern was could the camera capture what our eyes were really seeing. To our surprise, the results were better than expected. Together we hand-selected what we felt were the best photos and included them in this book. We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed capturing them for you! Custom photographic art makes for very personal, thoughtful, and great gifts! We can also take photos of your home, business, auto, event, or other, and turn them into beautiful and original art and images as well. Yes, we take senior portraits and other portrait-type photographic services. We do have two photo studios, and a fully equipped, private gym which we use to photograph bodybuilders and other fitness types. And yes, we do provide freelance assignment and/or contract, and stock photography services as well. We are ready to go when you are! 2020 Visual was once part of Legacy Data Solutions (LDS), L.L.C. (est. 1997), and was the graphics, video conversion, and video/photo production part of that business. 2020 Visual was also the part of LDS that provided all of the photos, videos, Wecams, and 360° tours for Tour Tri-Lakes, Tour Palmer Lake, and Tour Monument. At one point the name was even used for hand-made Jewelry design and sales. The 2020 Visual Studios name was used to sell Web site templates on-line. Today 2020 Visual is now it´s own entity and is 2020 Visual Studios, a Limited Liability Company, owned and operated by business partners Jan E. Laansma and Nick C. Casale. Both domain names, www.2020visual.com and www.2020visualstudios.com will get you to this Web site. The 2020 Visual Studios photo and creative Visual Arts team members are Jan E. Laansma and Nick C. Casale. As a team, Jan and Nick work together to design, layout, prepare, and produce creative and beautiful photographic sessions and visual art. We are a well balanced team. We work equally as well in the creative mode as in the more analytical and detailed mode. We like to call it "creative common sense." You will not a meet a more responsible, punctual, and results-oriented "creative" team of people on the planet.
 Several people have asked us what a Visual Artist is. We define a Visual Artist as someone who develops a picture in their mind´s eye for what something could look like, or already is, while others may be missing it. Obviously a Visual Artist creates visual art, of all kinds (photos, paintings, sculptures, etc.). But to help clarify things, and add in a piece to our definition, the 2020 Visual Studios team member who creates the scene for a photo shoot is also a Visual Artist. Setting the stage, or the scene, for one of our "creative" photo shoots does require a true Visual Artist. It also requires a person who can balance setting the stage and controlling the scene or environment while also allowing it, and the people in it, to flow freely and enjoy the natural creativity or scene that appears. It can be a very challenging balance, but well worth our above-and-beyond, best effort that we put into each and every photo session.Click HERE for the basic price list of our general photographic services.  In the movie "August Rush" there was this little girl named Hope (played by Jamia Simone Nash) who could sing like an angel. She really touched our hearts, so she was the inspiration for coming up with the girl´s voice you hear in our music tracks.
